About Dr. Xu
Dr. Xu has practiced Integrative Holistic Medicine & Acupuncture for over 20 years, successfully treating thousands of patients.
Her patient-centered philosophy emphasizes non-invasive, natural healing. Natural approaches not only control symptoms, but more importantly, can heal and prevent disease.
Dr. Xu's medical education and training include:
- Integrative medicine (combined conventional western medicine with Traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture and herbs) from Zhejiang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China (8 years)
- Pain Mechanisms and Acupuncture from Kyoto University School of Medicine in Japan (4 years)
- Internal Medicine Residency at University of Illinois/Christ Hospital at Chicago (3 years)
- Homeopathy from CEDH (Center for Education and Development of Clinical Homeopathy)
Dr. Xu has degrees/certifications in both conventional medicine and complementary/alternative medicine:
- MD degree from Zhejiang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China
